Homestead has the most beautiful and unique items. Seasonal decorative items ( especially Christmas)furniture, beautiful planters and pots and a superb collection of decorative plants of all kinds. You can spend several hours just looking at interesting, beautiful things. Clerks are always very helpful to locate something special or answer all questions! I now live in Ohio, but during a recent visit, made a trip to enjoy this beautiful place, and yes, purchase a unique and beautiful Christmas vase for a very nice price!

Homestead Gardens is a destination trip, to see the beautiful flowers and plants and the home decorations. And there is the beer garden with a nice stage and food trucks. Plus, a pen of goats and baby donkeys!

I can’t say enough GREAT things about this place. If you like to garden as much as I do, then you’re gonna love this place. But let me first start with the fact that they not only allow but even welcome leashed pets into their store which I find absolutely wonderful since that allows me more opportunities to shop where I don’t have to worry about weather and if it’s too hot or too cold for my pets to stay in my car. I will add tho that it does get extremely hot and humid at this location in the summer so bring water for your pet if you’re bringing them along. And never pick up one of their hoses as it could contain a water/fertilizer mixture for the plants that would not be safe for your pet to drink, at least that’s what I was told once when I inquired. If you like plants and/or gardening, this place is a little slice of heaven right here on earth. But even those who aren’t beholden to their plants will find something for everyone here. Firstly, this place is MASSIVE as far as gardening centers go. In addition to a huge variety of both indoor and outdoor plants, annuals and perennials, you can find everything else you’ll need to garden here: gloves, shoes, soil, mulch, pots, garde
